Crazy Idea
Crazy Idea, born in 1989 in Bormio, is closely linked to the name of its creator, owner and designer Valeria Colturi. Born and raised in Bormio in Alta Valtellina, after a past as an athlete in cross-country skiing, Valeria Colturi began, still in her twenties, to produce sports clothing for passion.
Today the company, which in the meantime has moved its headquarters to Tirano in the middle Valtellina, produces about 80% of the items in Italy, remaining faithful to its tradition.
Also in trail running, in 1995 it was the first to have presented on the market a clothing designed especially for this, then, “new discipline”.
The strong competitive connotation has allowed the company to create a name for itself as a manufacturer of highly technical clothing and today, while remaining closely linked to this particular sector, the feedback deriving from the high level is transferred to traditional ski touring, to mountaineering. , to freeride and to the street and climbing world.
