The ASICS GT-2000 15 are running shoes designed to offer adaptive stability, soft cushioning and an energetic response during road runs. This new version has been significantly improved in terms of comfort and responsiveness, thanks to a redesigned FF BLAST MAX midsole with a softer formulation and 2 mm more foam than the previous model. The FF BLAST MAX cushioning combines softness with energy return, making the landing phase more comfortable and the push-off phase more dynamic. The outsole and midsole geometry also incorporates a special trampoline-effect insert, designed to increase rebound during take-off. The heel features PureGEL technology, which is around 65 per cent softer than standard GEL technology, to absorb impact and further enhance comfort. One of the key features of the GT-2000 15 is the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM, an adaptive stability system that utilises the platform’s geometry and controlled flex to provide support tailored to the runner’s needs. In this way, the shoe can accommodate both neutral pronation and overpronation, promoting a more balanced stride without resorting to excessively rigid or intrusive support. The upper, made from lightweight reinforced fabric, provides the necessary structure whilst minimising the need for additional elements, whilst the EVA insole contributes to comfort underfoot. The outsole is also designed to withstand daily use: AHARPLUS rubber is positioned in the heel area, which is most prone to wear, whilst AHAR LO is strategically used to provide grip and traction whilst maintaining good durability. Finally, reflective details improve visibility during evening runs and in the early hours of the morning. |
