The Salomon Genesis 2 GORE-TEX Men\u2019s<\/strong> are waterproof trail running shoes designed to tackle mixed, rocky and technical terrain<\/strong>. The second generation features a wider, more stable platform, an updated Matryx\u00ae upper and a new lug pattern. The result is a versatile and protective trail shoe, suitable even for the most challenging weather conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The optiFOAM\u2122<\/strong> midsole utilises a lightweight, cushioned EVA foam. The rocker geometry promotes a dynamic stride, whilst the new activeCHASSIS\u2122<\/strong> is fully integrated into the structure. The wider platform increases stability and helps maintain a controlled stride on uneven terrain. The stack height measures 33.5 mm at the heel and 25.5 mm at the forefoot<\/strong>, with an 8 mm drop.<\/p>\n

The All-Terrain contaGRIP\u00ae<\/strong> outsole is designed to provide grip on dry, wet, hard or soft surfaces. The 4 mm<\/strong> lugs feature a redesigned geometry to improve traction, particularly on muddy and slippery terrain. This configuration allows you to tackle a variety of trails without limiting the shoe to a single type of trail.<\/p>\n

The Matryx\u00ae<\/strong> upper combines lightness and durability, whilst the GORE-TEX<\/strong> membrane protects the foot from water. Inside, the endoFit\u2122 system wraps around the foot and helps keep it stable on the most technical sections. Finally, the quickLACE\u2122 lacing system allows you to adjust the fit quickly and precisely.<\/p>\n
