The Tacx company was founded in 1957 in the Netherlands as a shop for the sale and repair of bicycles, but in 1969 the shop was transformed into a small factory that produces articles of its own production to give the final customer a better product.
In 1972 Tacx began manufacturing roller cylinders and in 1987 it began manufacturing indoor trainers and bicycle racks.
In 2019 Garmin acquires the Tacx company, now more than ever the Tacx trainers will be able to be connected and can interact with Garmin cycle computers such as Edge 1030, Edge 830 and earlier models.
