The HOKA Transport 2 GORE-TEX Women’s are versatile shoes designed for walking, light hiking and everyday use, with a waterproof construction suitable for getting about in town, travelling and days spent outdoors. The understated, clean design means they can easily be worn in your free time too, combining minimalist styling, weather protection and comfort for many hours of wear. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane protects the foot from water, whilst the PFC/PFAS-free EMPEL® DWR treatment adds a water-repellent finish to the upper. The upper is made from 100% recycled Cordura®, complemented by a reinforced toe cap and protective TPU elements in the areas most exposed to wear and tear. The heel fabric and collar lining also make extensive use of recycled materials. The midsole is made from EVA containing 30% sugarcane-derived material and offers protective, balanced cushioning, suitable for both everyday walks and long days on the move. The moulded insole, which is soft and responsive, incorporates REPREVE® A.M.Y.® Peppermint technology, designed to combat the build-up of unpleasant odours. The Vibram EcoStep outsole contains 30% regrind recycled rubber and is designed to offer grip and reliability on a variety of surfaces. The neutral construction and the 5 mm drop contribute to the model’s versatility, making it suitable for transitioning from urban environments to gentle outdoor trails. The ratchet lacing system allows for quick and easy adjustment, whilst traditional laces are also included in the pack. Weighing 294 g, the Transport 2 GORE-TEX Women’s offers a good balance between protection, durability and practicality, making it particularly suitable for travel, walks, hikes and everyday use, even in changeable weather. |
