The Altra Torin 9 GTX Women’s are neutral, waterproof running shoes designed to offer comfort, protection and a natural ride during road training sessions and walks. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane is integrated into the stretch upper to protect the foot from rain and moisture whilst maintaining a flexible structure that adapts to movement.

The midsole utilises the new P35X™ dual-density foam, combining a softer component with a firmer one to balance cushioning, energy return and stability. The 28 mm stack height and Altra’s characteristic 0 mm drop keep the heel and forefoot at the same height, promoting a natural running gait.

The Vibram® XS DURA outsole focuses on durability and grip on tarmac and, according to Altra, offers 8.5 per cent better grip than the Torin 8. FootPod technology complements the outsole’s design, promoting flexibility and a more natural foot movement during the transition.

The Standard FootShape™ fit allows the toes room to spread out without compromising stability in the midfoot. The new heel design and updated tongue have also been engineered to make the fit softer and more comfortable right from the very first kilometres.
