The Salomon S/LAB Genesis 2 are unisex trail running shoes designed to tackle technical, rocky terrain and long distances, combining dynamism, protection and stability. Designed for ultra-trail running and high-level performance, they build on the previous model with a lighter, more durable construction and more precise ground contact. The midsole combines optiFOAM™² and optiFOAM™ to offer protective cushioning, impact absorption and high energy return. The new integrated activeCHASSIS™ and wider platform enhance stability without making the shoe stiff, maintaining a dynamic stride even on the most challenging trails. The profeelFILM adds protection underfoot and helps make the stride smoother on uneven terrain. The All-Terrain contaGRIP® outsole features a new pattern with 4.5 mm lugs, designed to increase the contact area with the ground and improve grip and precision on dry, wet, hard or soft surfaces. A configuration designed to maintain traction and control even as the mileage increases. The new Matryx® Micro upper combines lightness, breathability and high abrasion resistance. The endoFit™ construction wraps around the foot for a precise fit, whilst the integrated gaiter prevents debris from entering. The design is completed by toe protection and the quickLACE™ system, which is quick to adjust and features a dedicated pocket for storing the laces.
