The The North Face Offtrail Ultra Women’s are trail running shoes designed to tackle long distances, technical trails and rugged terrain, combining cushioning, protection and high grip in a surprisingly lightweight construction. At the heart of the shoe is the new DREAMBOUND™ midsole, made from a nitrogen-infused dual-density super-foam. The structure is stiffer on the outer side to enhance stability and control on uneven terrain, whilst the softer inner section prioritises comfort and cushioning during longer runs. The heel height is 29 mm, with a 6 mm drop. The SURFACE CTRL™ outsole features 5 mm multi-directional lugs and THINWEB technology, designed to provide effective traction whilst minimising the weight of the structure. A combination designed to maintain safety and control even on technical sections and the most challenging surfaces. The Dual-Wrap upper is lightweight and seamless in the forefoot, with water-repellent ripstop fabric on the rear lateral side and TPU reinforcements to enhance stability and protection. The highly elastic integrated SCREEGUARD™ gaiter prevents gravel and small debris from entering the shoe, whilst the reinforced toe area offers additional protection against impacts. The construction is completed by a moulded 5 mm EVA insole and a running lacing system with an integrated strap, ensuring a secure and stable fit even on the most challenging trails. |
