The The North Face Offtrail Ultra Men’s are trail running shoes designed to tackle long distances and technical terrain, combining high cushioning with stability, protection and grip. Developed in collaboration with The North Face athletes, they feature a construction designed to maintain comfort and control even when the trail becomes particularly rugged. The midsole utilises the new DREAMBOUND™ dual-density nitrogen-infused super-foam: the stiffer outer layer contributes to stability, whilst the softer inner layer prioritises cushioning and comfort over long distances. The construction features a heel height of 29 mm and a 6 mm drop, with an ultra-lightweight, contoured 5 mm EVA insole. The SURFACE CTRL™ outsole, featuring THINWEB technology, is designed to combine traction, durability and low weight. The 5 mm multi-directional lugs enhance grip on uneven terrain, providing confidence during changes of direction, on ascents and on the most technical descents. The lightweight, seamless Dual-Wrap upper in the forefoot uses water-repellent ripstop fabric and external TPU reinforcements to enhance protection and stability. The integrated SCREEGUARD™ gaiter helps prevent gravel and debris from entering, whilst the reinforced toe area protects the foot from impacts with rocks and obstacles. The result is a sturdy yet lightweight shoe, designed to offer cushioning, protection and multi-surface traction on long outings and the most challenging trails. |
