TWO-WAY MESSAGE

The intuitive user interface that can be used via the Garmin Messenger app on your smartphone allows you to easily exchange text messages with your loved ones via satellite or cellular networks.

CONNECTIVITY WITHOUT BURST

Optimized inReach messaging uses your smartphone’s cellular connection if one is available and automatically switches to an Iridium ^® global satellite network when you leave coverage network.

GROUP MESSAGES

With the Garmin Messenger app, the inReach connection supports threading and group message distribution. This way, you can share your adventures with multiple contacts at the same time and participate in group chats with friends and family.

INTERACTIVE SOS ALERTS

FLEXIBLE SATELLITE TRANSMISSION PLANS

To access the Iridium global network and communicate with the inReach Messenger device, an active satellite subscription is required. You can choose a yearly package or a flexible monthly plan.
