The Karhu Ikoni ATR WR Men’s are all-terrain running shoes designed to support the transition from road to trail, offering a balanced ride even when the terrain and weather conditions change. This water-resistant WR version adds greater protection against moisture, making it particularly suitable for daily training on wet tarmac, dirt tracks and mixed terrain.

The midsole utilises AeroFoam foam, which offers soft and balanced cushioning. The half-length Fulcrum technology, meanwhile, helps to make the transition smoother and more guided, promoting forward movement without excessively stiffening the forefoot. The result is a shoe with a stable yet natural feel, also suitable for everyday runs.

The IdealKnit upper combines comfort and breathability and features a water-resistant inner lining. The 360° structured mudguard adds protection all the way round the shoe, helping to shield the foot from dirt, moisture and the stresses typical of off-road trails.

The high-grip rubber outsole features 2.5 mm lugs, a configuration designed to provide grip on mixed terrain without turning the Ikoni ATR WR into a particularly aggressive trail shoe. It is therefore a versatile solution for those who frequently alternate between tarmac, dirt tracks and easy trails.

With a stated weight of 305 g in US size 10 and an 8 mm drop, the Ikoni ATR WR retains the comfortable, guided feel of the Ikoni range, whilst adding the protection needed to tackle wet surfaces and variable conditions with greater confidence.
