The ASICS GT-2000 15 are running shoes designed to offer adaptive stability, soft cushioning and a more energetic response during road training sessions. This new version features a redesigned FF BLAST MAX midsole, with a softer formulation and 2 mm of additional foam compared to the previous model, to enhance comfort during the landing phase without compromising on a responsive feel during the push-off phase. The FF BLAST MAX foam forms the heart of the cushioning system, combining softness with energy return. This is complemented by a special trampoline-effect sole insert, developed through the geometry of the outsole and midsole to enhance rebound during the take-off phase. The heel also features PureGEL technology, which is softer than traditional ASICS GEL, helping to make the landing phase more comfortable. Stability is provided by the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM, an adaptive system based on the platform’s geometry and its controlled deformation. Support is therefore activated as needed during the stride, with the aim of maintaining a fluid and balanced movement without creating an excessively stiff feel. This is why the GT-2000 15 is suitable for both neutral runners and those with overpronation who want extra support. The upper, made from lightweight reinforced fabric, provides structure whilst minimising the need for additional elements, whilst the EVA insole enhances comfort underfoot. The outsole combines AHARPLUS in the heel, where greater abrasion resistance is required, and AHAR LO rubber strategically positioned to ensure grip and traction without making the structure excessively heavy. Reflective details complete the shoe, improving visibility during evening or early morning runs. |
