The Salomon Genesis 2 Men’s are versatile trail running shoes, designed to offer stability, protection and responsiveness on technical, rocky and mixed terrain. The second generation features a more stable platform, a lighter and more durable upper, and a new outsole geometry to tackle a wide variety of trails with confidence.

The new fully integrated activeCHASSIS™ works in conjunction with a wider midsole platform to better guide your stride and increase stability without compromising agility and freedom of movement. The optiFOAM™ midsole offers soft, protective cushioning, whilst the rocker geometry helps to make your run smoother and more dynamic. The stack height is 33.5 mm at the heel and 25.5 mm at the forefoot, giving an 8 mm drop.

The All-Terrain contaGRIP® outsole features a completely redesigned lug pattern, with a depth of 4 mm, to ensure traction and safety on dry, wet, hard or soft surfaces. A particularly effective solution on mixed trails and in conditions where the terrain changes frequently.

The new Matryx® upper, made from technical yarns and high-tenacity Kevlar®, combines high abrasion resistance, lightness and breathability. The endoFit™ internal construction wraps around the foot to improve support, whilst the quickLACE™ system allows for quick and precise lacing adjustment.
