The Salomon Genesis 2 GORE-TEX Women’s are waterproof trail running shoes designed to tackle mixed, rocky and technical terrain. The second generation combines a more stable platform with a lighter, more durable upper. The result is a versatile, protective trail shoe suitable even for the most challenging weather conditions.

The optiFOAM™ midsole utilises a lightweight, cushioned EVA foam. The new rocker geometry promotes a more dynamic stride, whilst the fully integrated activeCHASSIS™ operates on a wider platform. This configuration enhances stability without compromising agility or freedom of movement. The stack height is 33.5 mm at the heel and 25.5 mm at the forefoot, with an 8 mm drop.

The All-Terrain contaGRIP® outsole is designed to provide traction on dry, wet, hard or soft surfaces. The 4 mm lugs feature a redesigned geometry to improve grip, especially when the trail becomes muddy or slippery. A configuration suited to those tackling varied and technically demanding routes.

The Matryx® upper is lightweight and durable, whilst the GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproof protection on rainy days and on wet terrain. Inside, the endoFit™ system wraps around the foot like a sock and helps to keep it stable. The quickLACE™ lacing system, meanwhile, allows you to quickly adjust the fit with a single movement.
