The Salomon Genesis 2 GORE-TEX Men’s are waterproof trail running shoes designed to tackle mixed, rocky and technical terrain. The second generation features a wider, more stable platform, an updated Matryx® upper and a new lug pattern. The result is a versatile and protective trail shoe, suitable even for the most challenging weather conditions.

The optiFOAM™ midsole utilises a lightweight, cushioned EVA foam. The rocker geometry promotes a dynamic stride, whilst the new activeCHASSIS™ is fully integrated into the structure. The wider platform increases stability and helps maintain a controlled stride on uneven terrain. The stack height measures 33.5 mm at the heel and 25.5 mm at the forefoot, with an 8 mm drop.

The All-Terrain contaGRIP® outsole is designed to provide grip on dry, wet, hard or soft surfaces. The 4 mm lugs feature a redesigned geometry to improve traction, particularly on muddy and slippery terrain. This configuration allows you to tackle a variety of trails without limiting the shoe to a single type of trail.

The Matryx® upper combines lightness and durability, whilst the GORE-TEX membrane protects the foot from water. Inside, the endoFit™ system wraps around the foot and helps keep it stable on the most technical sections. Finally, the quickLACE™ lacing system allows you to adjust the fit quickly and precisely.
