The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 33 are running shoes designed to offer maximum cushioning, adaptive support and comfort over long distances. This latest evolution of the GEL-KAYANO introduces FLUIDSUPPORT technology, developed to adapt to the runner’s biomechanical needs during the different phases of the stride, providing support when needed without hindering the foot’s natural movement. The new FLUIDSUPPORT technology intervenes at key stages of the gait cycle, adapting the support to changes in biomechanics whilst running. The aim is to guide the foot naturally and promote smooth, efficient transitions, making the GEL-KAYANO 33 suitable for both neutral runners and those with overpronation. The midsole combines two different foams, FF BLAST PLUS and FF BLAST MAX, to strike a balance between softness and energy return whilst keeping the shoe’s weight down. The heel also features PureGEL technology, an updated and softer version of the traditional ASICS GEL, designed to enhance comfort upon impact. With an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, a weight of 259 g and maximum cushioning, the design is particularly well-suited to clocking up the kilometres with a high level of protection. The reinforced upper, made from lightweight, breathable mesh, provides structure whilst minimising the need for additional reinforcements, whilst the OrthoLite insole contributes to cushioning and moisture management. The HYBRID ASICSGRIP outsole combines ASICSGRIP and AHARPLUS to offer grip and durability, whilst reflective details improve visibility when running in low light. The result is a well-rounded and protective shoe, designed especially for those seeking comfort and support as their mileage increases. |
