The Brooks Glycerin Max 3 Women’s are neutral running shoes designed to offer maximum cushioning, softness and a smooth ride, particularly during daily training sessions and long-distance runs. The high-profile midsole and rocker geometry work together to ensure an extremely comfortable ride and support the foot through every phase of the gait cycle, making them particularly suitable for those seeking impact protection even after many kilometres.
The main innovation is the new DNA RISE TUNEDcushioning system, a nitrogen-infused foam that builds on the previous DNA TUNED. Its dual-cell structure combines larger cells, designed for softness, and smaller cells, engineered to enhance elastic response. The new compound is 7 per cent softer, 8 per cent more responsive and 15 per cent lighter than the previous generation, offering an even more effective balance between shock absorption and energy return. The midsole maintains a high stack height of 45 mm at the heel and 39 mm at the forefoot, with a 6 mm drop. This configuration provides a generous amount of cushioning material underfoot, which is particularly noticeable during recovery runs and prolonged training sessions. Despite its pronounced softness, the foam retains a springy response that helps make running enjoyable even over longer distances. The GuideRoll Rocker technology promotes a progressive transition from heel to toe, supporting the foot’s natural movement and making the roll smoother. This design is particularly useful during runs at a relaxed and moderate pace, when you’re looking for a sense of continuity and smoothness without having to apply a particularly aggressive push. The upper features a flat-knit collar and tongue, designed to offer a snug and comfortable fit. Weighing 272.2 g, the Brooks Glycerin Max 3 Women’s is an attractive choice for daily training, recovery runs, long-distance runs and marathon preparation. The neutral design is suitable for runners who do not require specific pronation control systems and wish to prioritise comfort and cushioning. |
