The HOKA Challenger 8 GORE-TEX are waterproof running shoes designed to transition seamlessly from road to trail. Their versatile design allows you to run on tarmac, gravel roads and trails, whilst offering protection against rain, mud and snow. This version features more foam underfoot, an updated fit and a new outsole configuration.

Weather protection is provided by the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, integrated into the upper to keep your feet dry during runs in challenging weather conditions. The technical mesh is made from 100% rPET and features a 3D screen-printed toe cap. Reflective details also enhance visibility when running in low light.

The EVA midsole offers protective and balanced cushioning, whilst maintaining sufficient responsiveness as the pace increases. The construction is neutral and utilises a symmetrical cushioning unit, without any additional pronation control technologies. The heel-to-toe drop has been set at 8 mm and the new shape improves the fit in the forefoot and instep areas.

The outsole features a 4 mm multi-directional tread pattern, with a redesigned orientation to increase traction on gravel. The design is intended to maintain a smooth stride on hard surfaces and offer greater confidence when transitioning to gravel, dirt and trails.
