The Saucony Guide TR GTX Women’s are road-to-trail running shoes designed to offer maximum cushioning, stability and waterproof protection during training sessions that alternate between tarmac and dirt tracks. They build on the comfort and protection of the Guide 19, adding a more robust construction, a sole specifically designed for off-road terrain and a GORE-TEX® upper to tackle rain and changeable weather conditions with greater confidence. The midsole utilises a wide PWRRUN platform, developed to provide a soft, protective ride combined with responsive energy return. The generous stack height of 41 mm at the heel and 35 mm at the forefoot, with a 6 mm drop, prioritises comfort and impact protection during daily runs. The PWRRUN+ insole adds an extra layer of softness directly underfoot. To tackle mixed terrain, the Guide TR GTX features a PWRTRAC outsole with 3.5 mm lugs, designed to ensure grip on dirt tracks whilst maintaining the versatility needed on tarmac sections. This configuration allows you to transition seamlessly from road to dirt tracks and trails, making the shoe ideal for training sessions where surface types and terrain conditions change frequently. The upper incorporates GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit technology, which offers waterproof protection from the elements whilst maintaining a comfortable fit. This is particularly useful on rainy days and during the colder months, when trails and dirt tracks can be wet or muddy. Weighing 292 g, the Guide TR GTX Women’s combines a heavily cushioned construction with the durability required for off-road running and the added protection of the waterproof membrane. It is therefore a versatile solution for those who want to use a single pair of shoes for daily training on mixed terrain, maintaining comfort, grip and protection when transitioning from tarmac to dirt tracks. |
