The HOKA Tecton X 4 are high-performance trail running shoes designed for competition and long distances on technical terrain, where speed, precision and stability are essential. The PROFLY™ X construction combines two layers of ultra-lightweight, high-rebound PEBA foam with a system of parallel carbon plates, developed to make your stride more propulsive and efficient even when the terrain becomes challenging. The pronounced MetaRocker™ geometry promotes rapid transitions and a smooth ride, whilst the new configuration of the carbon plates improves the precision of the push-off whilst maintaining stability at high speeds. With a 40 mm stack height at the heel and a 5 mm drop, the Tecton X 4 offers a high level of protection without compromising on the responsiveness required for racing. The Vibram® Megagrip Litebase outsole with Traction Lugs and 4 mm lugs ensures grip and control on technical trails, whilst keeping weight to a minimum. The new Matryx® Micro upper is durable, highly breathable and designed to deliver reliable performance even in wet conditions. To enhance comfort and safety over long distances, HOKA has introduced a raised knitted collar that prevents debris from entering, a Ghillie lacing system and a dynamic forefoot design that allows the foot to expand naturally whilst running. The result is an advanced racing shoe, designed for those seeking maximum speed and propulsion on the most challenging trails. |
