Description

The Petzl NAO® RL is a headlamp designed to deliver extreme power, smart lighting and comfort during the most demanding outdoor activities. With a brightness of up to 1500 lumens and weighing just 145 g, it sets the standard for trail running, ultra-trail running and night-time expeditions, thanks to REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology, which automatically adapts the beam to the surrounding conditions.

The design is engineered to ensure:

REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology uses an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the intensity and shape of the light beam, always providing the necessary amount of light whilst optimising battery consumption. Three white light settings are available (MAX BURN TIME, STANDARD and MAX POWER), as well as the STANDARD LIGHTING mode for those who prefer manual control of the lighting.

The mixed beam, which combines wide and focused illumination, allows you to see clearly both the ground immediately ahead and further sections of the route. The red rear light, available in steady or flashing modes, improves visibility during night-time training sessions and races, enhancing safety for other trail users.

Designed for long distances, the NAO® RL distributes the weight of the battery at the back of the head, ensuring optimal balance and reducing fatigue. The adjustable elastic headband with additional top elastic offers excellent stability even when running on the most technical terrain, whilst the reflective inserts increase visibility in low-light conditions.

The 3200 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which can be charged via USB-C, ensures high performance even during the longest activities. It is also compatible with the R1 battery, which can be used both as a quick replacement and as a power bank to charge smartphones, GPS devices or sports watches. The package is rounded off by the LOCK function, the five-level charge indicator and the handy case that allows you to turn the light into a torch.
