Thanks to our more powerful and precise radar detection technology, the Varia RearVue 820 detects approaching vehicles from up to 175 metres away with a wider field of view.
BRIGHT TAIL LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT
The tail light ensures you are visible from up to 2 km away. A brake light detects when you slow down or stop and displays a unique flashing sequence.
ADVANCED VEHICLE DETECTION
View alerts for small, medium and large vehicles and see when a vehicle changes lanes, along with its threat level, if paired with a newer version of Edge® or the Varia™ app on your smartphone.
RECEIVE ALERTS HOWEVER YOU PREFER
For visual and audible alerts whilst riding, connect this radar to the Varia app, compatible Edge devices or Garmin smartwatches. In addition to wrist alerts, selected Garmin smartwatches can also provide audio alerts for approaching vehicles; this feature is currently available in the Garmin Public Beta for certain smartwatches³.
VARIOUS BRIGHTNESS OPTIONS
Ride with four different brightness levels: daytime flash, night-time flash, steady mode and group mode, which help protect the eyes of riders behind you. You can also customise your preferred mode via the Varia app
COMPACT DESIGN
The compact design and the new Varia RearVue 820 seatpost mount fit perfectly on almost any road or gravel bike and are compatible with the Varia seatpost mounting kit (sold separately).
