“Everyone was convinced that physiologically a man could not make it. But I was studying neurology and knew that to go the distance the most important organ is the brain’. It was 6 May 1954 and Roger Bannister was about to write one of the most important pages in the history of running: he was the first man to run the mile in under four minutes. Roger knew that limit was only in people’s brains. Sporting his tank top, he ran the fastest 3 minutes 59 seconds ever run that rainy morning on 6 May. Wild Tee decided to pay homage to that day with a tank top that resembles the same one Roger used on record day.
